Proudest moment in CrossFit so far?
I have several – 5k row. 46 unbroken single-unders. 400m run unbroken. Finally doing ‘real’ burpees. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of these in January.

I thought I needed to get in shape before starting. By just showing up, the rest fell into place.
What kept you coming back?
There is a feeling of accountability that comes with having coaches and signing up for classes. That’s missing at a regular gym.
Your advice for someone considering starting CrossFit?
Just show up. Any exercise or movement can be modified to get the same benefit. The coaches say it and it’s true. Doing anything at the gym is significantly more than you would be doing at home on the couch.
