When/how did your health and fitness journey begin?
When I started coming to Sycamore CrossFit!! After my son was born in 2015, I started taking my fitness much more seriously (largely because I wasn’t constantly traveling for my old job and entertaining customers with bar food for lunch every day).

Why did you want to be part of the SCF Team?
I had just had my first child and was staying home full time with him. Carl and Phoebe were looking for someone to help with administrative work and I was already spending a bunch of time at the gym so it seemed like great fit.
What do you do at Sycamore CrossFit?
My official title is “Office Manager.” I do a little bit of everything – membership management, emails & blogs posts, payroll, supplement ordering.
What is your favorite thing about SCF?
This certainly sounds generic, but the people! Most of my friends are at the gym. The WOD an hour of my day when I get to see some of my favorite people and push myself physically and mentally in a way I don’t at home.
What is your favorite memory at Sycamore CrossFit?
I have so many memories at Sycamore CrossFit, it is really hard to pick a favorite so I will share my first. My FIRST ever workout was an early morning WOD. The workout was Cindy. I hadn’t done foundations yet, and the only other two people working out were Jeremy and Heather Winnan (who were, naturally, racing). I nearly died that day. I’m not sure why I came back, but I’m so glad I did.
