Halloween at Home

There are a few things that might make Halloween a bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean that it is canceled!

You might not be able to take the kids out trick or treating or go to a party, but you and your family can still celebrate a fun-filled Halloween together.

Check out these 3 family-friendly ways to enjoy this holiday at home.

  1. Idea #1: Do a Halloween countdown
    • Creating a countdown to Halloween gives kids and adults something to look forward to. You could make a paper chain, add stickers to a calendar, or add a new spooky decoration for counting down to October 31st.
  2. Idea #2: Make a Halloween themed dinner
    • Make a dinner where all the elements are Halloween themed. This dinner can be as simple or elaborate as you would like, but even at its simplest it is really fun! You can find plenty of ideas with a quick search online, but some of our favorites include jack-o’-lantern stuffed peppers, mummy toast, apple nut butter teeth, and veggie skeletons.
