Why did you choose Sycamore CrossFit? Why do you keep coming back?

I chose Sycamore CrossFit because I wanted something different.  I knew I didn’t want a repetitive “work out” on a series of machines or to spend hours on a treadmill.  I didn’t know what I DID want, either, but Sycamore CrossFit helped me figure that out..and that’s why I keep coming back.

What’s your best story about the gym?

My first day at the gym will always be one of the best.  I was just so uncertain…and I wondered what kind of rapport I’d have with the poor guy that obviously drew the short straw to work with me.  But, I was met with kindness and support…and I left that day feeling that where I was at was only a point to move forward from.  It was all good.

What advice would you give to the person you were a year ago?

I would ask that person what she’s waiting for.  I’d tell her to get out of her head…and just get to the gym.

What accomplishment at the gym or in your nutrition are you the most proud of?

The thing I’m most proud of right now that I’ve been consistent in showing up at the gym and in working on my nutrition…and it’s helped me to be able to meet the goals I’ve set for myself along the way.
