Why did you choose Sycamore CrossFit? Why do you keep coming back?
I chose Sycamore CrossFit for the programmed workouts and coach-led classes. I have stayed for the supportive community of athletes and coaches that continue to motivate me to work harder. I have found that I always leave the gym feeling better than when I arrived, and it’s become a place that I look forward to going to each day.
What’s your best story about SCF?
I have really enjoyed participating in Friday Night Lights at the gym for the Open workouts. From my first Open when I got to know everyone at the gym and really started to feel like a part of the community, to my most recent Open when I was able to get my first ring muscle up, FNL has always been great. I particularly enjoyed sharing a bottle of wine with Pam after one of the workouts last year and I’m looking forward to doing it again this year!
What advice would you give the person you were a year ago?
The advice I would give to myself a year ago, would be to enjoy your summer, don’t get hung up on the small stuff, and make the most out of every opportunity you have.
