Foundations is our introduction to the world of CrossFit and functional fitness. It is required for all of our members who are new to this training methodology and serves as a prerequisite for group classes.
Foundations consists of 6 one-hour personal coaching sessions. Every person that walks through our doors has their own unique strengths and weaknesses, some of which are yet unknown. The goal of these training sessions is to identify these strengths and to work on the weaknesses that may keep you from improving your athletic ability. We’ll teach you movement standards and safety, Nutrition 101, CrossFit lingo, and how to scale movements to your own fitness level so you are prepared to join the group fitness classes with confidence.

CrossFit involves highly technical movements and it’s our responsibility to get you started on the fitness journey fully prepared to take on whatever we throw at you – we know you will enjoy the ride!
CrossFit has turned the boring, mundane yet necessary task of “working out” into a fun and motivating athletic endeavor. We expertly program our CrossFit classes to build functional strength and conditioning through workouts of the day (WODs), which we scale to every fitness level. We believe in the CrossFit methodology, which focuses on preparing our members the best we can for any physical and mental contingency that life throws at you.
Our 60-minute sessions will typically consist of a warm-up, mobility, strength, and skill work, and finish with a heart-pumping conditioning workout. Each class is like a team practice, everyone works together to increase their fitness and strength, and everyone is supporting each other along the way.
